This ceremony is in honor of

FF  Mahl E-161

who died in the line of duty on

November 9, 1941

And

Lt. Curran E-161

who died in the line of duty on

May 30, 1944

Both members were never honored

By the Fire Dept.  or NYC

These deaths occurred during war time,

when dedications and memorials did not

take place.
